The break room is located next to the conference room and across the hall from the front office. It includes a large refrigerator with freezer compartment, microwaves, a toaster, a sink, various dishes and utensils, a dishwasher, a coffee maker (see Coffee Club), and a large table with many seats.
- You are welcome to store personal items in the refrigerator, but they must be labeled with your name and date. Unmarked items may be thrown out or treated as communal.
- Dishes and utensils are available for use. Please wash them immediately after use or place them in the dishwasher so they’re ready for the next person.
- When using the microwave, always cover your food to avoid spills and messes.
- Please do not take or use items clearly marked with someone else’s name.
- Custodians do not clean refrigerators, microwaves, toasters, dishes, utensils, counters, or lunch tables — so it’s up to all of us to clean up after ourselves.
- The fridge will be cleaned out on the last Friday of each month. All items not marked “save” will be discarded, and reusable containers will be placed in the dishwasher.
